St Cecilia’s House celebrated their house feast on Thursday November 22. St. Cecilia is the Patron saint of Music and Musicians. The assembly was led by House Captain, Carlea Francis. Invited Caecilians were Mrs. Jennifer White, Mrs. Lucille Blackman and Honoree Mrs. Dorothy Leevy.

The morning’s proceedings included praying of Psalm 149 and listening to the Gospel of the day read by Ms Daina Matthew, House Mother. Following this, were intercessory  prayers and the history of the house read by Vice Captain, Shannon Rawlins.

That morning Covent High school was treated to performances on the flute by Mekisha Harrigan and a contemporary dance by House members. The morning’s assembly ended with pomp  when all Caecilians sang the house song written by Triona Henderson, Caecelian.
