On Wednesday 21 April, the activities for the literacy week continue as the first formers led the assembly under the theme of music.  The reading for the morning was taken from Psalm 150 and was followed by the song 'Praise to the Lord' (# 309 in the Moments of Celebration).

As a reflection, the student body listened to a round of questions pertaining to the theme that were asked and answered. The students of the class of 1-4 did a tribute to music involving an ensemble played on recorder, a dance displaying different cultures and interludes played to show the relation between music and mood. The students ended their tribute with song. The assembly closed with the Synod Prayer followed by Mrs. Dublin's announcements.

In the afternoon the Communication Club hosted their film wrap session on the film 'Hush'. To start off the session the club's president, Colette Ambo, read a list of rules and instructions to be carried out. The film was viewed from three o'clock to four o'clock in the Convent High School's auditorium. The auditorium was filled with students from the Convent High School, St. Mary's Academy, Orion Academy and other schools. After the film, a discussion took place.
This discussion was coordinated by the leader of the Communication Club, Miss Kimone Joseph. Members of the Communication Club each asked a question pertaining to the film and discussions, guided by these questions, took place. The entire session ended by four-thirty p.m.
