When she came to again she was lying on her bed. For a while she just stared at the ceiling and ignored the deep even breaths next to her. The events of the day refused to stay locked up in her mind. If Daren was a dead then why could she see him so clearly? Right now she could feel his breath. If Daren was dead then why could she feel his touch? She certainly did not imagine that kiss. Slowly she traced her lips, and she did not imagine the scent of his cologne.

"How?" her voice trembled.

"I was cheated." he answered quietly.

"How can you be cheated  by death?"

"Death isn't always fair."

"Why are you here?" she asked tersely.

"I missed you?"

"Why haven't you passed on?"

"I ran from him."

"Skype, he's like the Grim Reaper. When souls have unresolved emotions it makes them stronger, making it harder for him to catch them."

"How did you die?"

"Skype decided that since he couldn't make his  quota of spirits he, decided to take mine, forcefully."

"Did it hurt?"

"What now, you can't just......just.........just haunt me!"

For an instant he looked depressed.

"You want me to go away?" he sighed.

"No! I love you but --- but"

"I have a plan. I'm going to come back."

"How do you plan to do that!"

"Don't worry I have a plan. But I have to go now."

Slowly he stood up and walked towards the door. With an impish grin he winked at her and phased through it.

For a while after he left,  Saada stared out the window. She kicked herself internally for being so vague and not asking more questions, but she had been so overwhelmed it was not a surprise she had fainted. With a long sigh she turned to the door. Her mother would probably be set on taking her to see a psychiatrist. Chagrined she walked away from the door. Why hadn't he warned her or said anything? How did he plan on coming back?

Slowly she let the questions fade as she subsided into a deep sleep.
