BOOKS

Written by Shekina Moise
I run through them,
One by One
And finger the pages,
With my thumb
My life is filled to the brim,
With books
Of all shapes and sizes,
Colours and surprises
Books about romance, revenge,
And crime
Yet each in their own way,
They shine
Books on shelves, and floor,
And bed
But still my appetite,
Is never fed
On topics as endless,
As time could be
When lost in a good book,
I feel free!
