HFLE Week
20 – 24 January, 2014
Theme: HFLE - Cognitive and social skills: a combination for a wholesome and successful individual

Thought of the week

Even though some of us fail to realize it, HFLE impacts our lives in a special way. We may sleep through the lectures and the classes and may be reluctant in doing the portfolios, but in the end, we all learn something from HFLE. If we had not learned what Christian Leadership was, we would not know how to lead others properly. If we had not learned anger management or conflict resolution the spiritual way, we would not know how to solve problems, express anger properly or deal with conflicts.

If we had not learned about stress, we would not know how to cope with it and if we had never been introduced to HFLE and learned so many things we may have thought was unnecessary and useless, we would not have been able to start the journey to finding ourselves spiritually and be able to break down and understand the challenging and sometimes confusing parts of our lives.

We must therefore, make HFLE a part of our everyday lives as this teaches us important skills necessary for our everyday life. If we truly want to make a difference in the things we do or change the wrong in our lives, then pay attention to the lessons taught during HFLE. I mean, after all, we benefit from it in one way or another.

Let’s embrace HFLE: Health Family Life Education.
