History Week at CHS

Pearl Christian, lovingly known to many as “Aunty Pearl” was the highlight of Thursday morning’s assembly. What made it even more special, was that we were blessed to have her attend this short assembly, which was carefully and painstakingly put together in her honour. After the morning’s prayers, a short biography of Aunty Pearl was read. A student of the CHS, Nicole Joseph read a poem dedicated to her. One of Aunty Pearls most loved folk songs “Coffee will set me right” was beautifully performed by a few students. The rhythm and melody had the entire school body chanting the song for the entire day.
