The application forms for the 2013-2014 Form 1 students have been received and are being processed.  As directed by the Ministry of Education the CHS accepted list will be published on Wednesday 3 July 2013.

Read the web page on Becoming a CHS Student making note of the additional documents that must be submitted with the printed and signed registration form.

The registration form is web-based and must be completed online.  One printed copy must be submitted with all the required documents at the Orientation Meeting on Friday 5 July 2013.

Registration is open from Wednesday 3 July 2013 until Friday 5 July 2013 at 1:00PM.  If you do not have access to a computer, printer, or the web (Internet), the computer facilities at CHS are available for registration on Thursday 4 July from 10:00AM to 3:00PM and on Friday 5 July from 9:00AM to 1:00PM.  If you are not up to the task of the online registration, bring along someone to assist you--we are only able to provide the facility and not personnel to complete the registration form.

Parent(s)/Guardian(s) and the student MUST attend the orientation meeting in the Convent High School Auditorium at 3:30PM on Friday 5 July 2013.  CHS will receive the printed Registration forms and payment ONLY at the meeting.

Registration sequence and requirements:

  1. Read the Becoming a CHS Student page and preview the Registration Form as soon as possible to have a clear idea of the information required.  You are advised to do this before you attempt to complete the form.  There is a link to the registration form at the bottom of the page.
  2. Complete the Registration Form when registration is open and if the name of your daughter/ward is on the published list.
  3. Come to the Orientation Meeting at the CHS Auditorium/Hall on Friday 5 July 2013 at 3:30PM.
    Bring along:
    • The student.
    • The printed copy of the registration form.  The registration form must be signed by the parent(s)/guardian(s).
    • One recent photo of student with student name printed at the back.  The photo size should be 1.75 inches x 1.5 inches or 4cm x 3.5cm.  Attached the photo (glue or staple) to the registration form where is says "Attach Photo Here"
    • A copy of the student's birth certificate to verify student name and parents' names.  This copy will not be returned and we are not able to duplicate (photo copy).  CHS will accept either the original or a copy (photo copy).
    • Other documents indicating parent(s)/guardian(s) if those are different from the names on the birth certificate.
    • Medical note or report to support any special request for the student not to participate in standard school and class activities, or request for special seating arrangement.
    • Payment.  (See notes on payment below.)

Payment:

The Convent High School has an annual school (tuition) fee of $525.  There in no term fee; however, due to economic and other financial constraints the annual fee may be paid in three parts.  Additional fees are registration, student handbook, homework diary, bible, hymnal, religion book, charities fund, retreat and sports uniform.  All Additional fees apply to all students; however, these fees must be paid in full by new students at registration.

Payment at registration can be made in any of the following ways:

  1. Payment of $980.00
    (this includes registration, student handbook, homework diary, bible, hymnal, religion book, charities fund, retreat, sports uniform and the school (tuition) fee for the full year)
    OR
  2. Payment of $880.00
    (this includes registration, student handbook, homework diary, bible, hymnal, religion book, charities fund, retreat, sports uniform and 2 of 3 parts of the annual school (tuition) fee.)
    OR
  3. Payment of $655.00
    (this includes registration, student handbook, homework diary, bible, hymnal, religion book, charities fund, retreat, sports uniform and 1 of 3 parts of the annual school (tuition) fee.)
