The Speech Chorale, under the directorship of Miss Leandra Lander, continued the streak on Day Two, with their adapted performance piece of 'Television' by Roald Dahl.  The School's Band performed an entertaining piece, 'Moliendo Cafe' under the directorship of Mrs. Huguette St. Hilaire, to win the second Gold medal for the day. In the Speech Category, CHS was one of three (3) schools to obtain gold, while in the Instrumental ensemble, CHS was one of two (2) schools to obtain gold along with the Saint Mary's Academy.

Pencil Sketches submitted by Rohini James of Form 4-D, earned CHS two Silver medals in the Visual Arts segment. The Drama club obtained a Bronze Medal in Drama on Day Four with a play entitled 'Give me back my Dignity' and directed by Mrs. Hughette St. Hilaire. The CHS Dance club as directed by Miss Natasha Nation, brought a great week to an end on a high note when they obtained gold in front of a packed hall of students and teachers. The dance was entitled the Enslavement and Emancipation of Dance and featured a medley of songs such as 'Circle of Life', Baba Yetu and Oliver Twist. Miss Teen Dominica, CHS student,  Kaymaya Bertrand had a thrilling solo dance in the performance to Alicia Keys ' Girl on Fire'.

The CHS was recognized by the Division of Culture with a Plaque of Commendation for participating in every category for the week of activities. The St. Luke Primary School and the Dominica Community High School were the two other schools who received this award. The CHS thanks all teachers and students who worked hard and participated in ensuring top quality performances.
