On the 1st October 2012, the Convent High School celebrated the feast of St. Theresa of the 'Little Flower'. That day the entire school was decorated with pink flowers and drapes.

Gabrielle St.Hilaire led the school in the prayer filled assembly, and Head Girl, Jade Alexander did an instrumental on the violin. After the musical piece the prayer of St. Theresa was read along with three Hail Mary’s. The life of St. Theresa was given. St. Theresa is the patron saint of aviators, florists, and Russia. The members of St. Theresa put on a short skit on "Modern Day St. Theresa."

The devotional song ‘Worthy is the Lamb’ was sung by our very own reigning Calypso Monarch Janae Jackson while Jodi Johnson, Jade Alexander and Emmana Jeffers played the musical accompaniment. The bible reading taken from Phillipians 2: 1-11 was read, then the school was asked to reflect upon it. The student body  of CHS then joined their voices in singing ‘I Marvel at the Wisdom of my God.’ The assembly ended with  poems by Selena Cuffy,  and Curdijah Baptiste.

Finally Mrs. Weekes presented past and present members of the house with certificates, and the house captain Jade Alexander gave the vote of thanks. We were all reminded that it is the little things in life that amount to the big things and we give praise to God in every small gesture. Every aspect of our lives, significant or insignificant,  is a God moment. St. Theresa pray for us!
