On the morning of Friday, the 27th of April 2012, the Convent High School said good bye to its fifth formers. We bade them farewell with a mass which was presided by Monsignor William John- Lewis. The sermon was about faith and Saul’s conversion. An important message in it was that God can take anyone and make anything out of them.

Shortly before the final blessing, the four fifth forms gave their final vote of thanks before their departure. First, form 5-A sang an original song written by classmate Ellaina Joseph called ‘Because of You’. The song was dedicated to their class teacher. Second, the class of 5-B sang ‘I Just Can’t Give Up Now’ by Mary Mary. Third, Rhonda Vigilant and Britany Clarke of form 5-C sang ‘Because You Loved Me’ by Celine Dion and finally, Form 4-D read a poem, ‘Thank you Teachers’ written by classmates Keehann Joseph, Dahlia Gregoire.

The fifth formers returned to school from the Cathedral Chapel with auras of elatedness and bright smiles.
