On Wednesday, 14th March, 2012, Pi Day, the Music Department received generous donations from a Canadian couple.

To start off the ceremony, Kaidie Williams, the head girl, welcomed Mr. Luther and Mrs. Ruth Kosowan to the Convent High School and thanked them for donating instruments to the school’s Music Department.

After, the school’s band played Wavin’ Flag on flutes, recorders, violins, clarinets, drums and on piano. Mr. and Mrs. Kosowan danced joyfully to the beautiful music.

Then, they  thanked the school for accepting the gifts. Following that, Mrs. St. Hilaire said that she was grateful for Kaidie’s wonderful welcome speech and for the instruments donated by the Kosowans. Some of these instruments included the French horn, trumpets, trombones, flutes and clarinets.

On this note, the ceremony ended and everyone left for Break.
