In The Crowd

The room

It's empty, yet full

The sounds surrounding me

Are quiet, yet louder than a landing airplane

 In The Crowd

The room

It's empty, yet full

The sounds surrounding me

Are quiet, yet louder than a landing airplane

I'm alone

Yet

I feel crowded

By all the little people in my head

Who never leave me alone

When no one is around

I still feel the vibrations

Of the jumble of people

Incessantly arguing

Who crowd me

Give me a strong feeling of claustrophobia

And yet

They comfort me

When I have no one else to talk to

I know I have them

To join me on my journey

I may be crazy

But I'll be crazy with the arguing little people in my head who crowd me.
